Currently I have a 90 B 16 on the rear. I have to get a new or at least a good used tire on it ASAP. I am laid off, so new isn't feasible at this time, but I want to keep riding. What I need to know is what the largest tire that will fit is, so I will know that the sizes UNDER that will fit. I will change the tire myself, I have did it before.

we'll stock size is a 130/90-16 on the rear. I've got metzlers on the sporty....but their pricy. But on my 76' kawasaki kz750(comparable size and weight bike) i've used Kenda challenger tires, and they were pretty damn good tires for the price. For the harley size I think they run about $60-70. As for the fatest size.....it really depends on the manufacturer....my metzler is a 140 and fit no problem, but i've heard other that did dunlop 140's and they just rub a tad.
