Had an Nightster come into the shop last week with a leather bag that mounted to the backside of the side mount plate. Personally I keep all my bike registrations in my wallet. Takes up almost no room, you must have bigger registration cards in your state.

Clean your wallet out and keep it in there.

I'm amazed to see that I'm the first to say I just put it in my jeans pocket. lol. I just keep it with my key when I'm not using the bike.

I got a small tube style leather bag and zip tied it to the swing arm in front of the caliper. Otherwise laminate it and use a magnet to hold it to the inside of your batter cover if 04 or later.

Have you tried one of these?
I have used one of these $20 babies for the last couple of years, and it works awesome. I also keep a spare cigarette lighter and a pack of Gold 'N Milds in it, too!
