I don't even know what that is. I'm a rookie to all this.

No idea. I included a ton of pictures specifically so people knew exactly what to ask for though. I'd imagine other people make/carry similar products.

No problem!

I've seen some more permanent installs, but none this cheap. I too prefer to carry it in my bag, so it works pretty well for me. It's rare that I need it anyway.

I got mine at Walmart about 4 or 5 years ago - about $5.

I'd check anywhere that stocks trailer supplies. Technically the hookup is flat connector typically used to hook your trailer's brake lights to the tow car.

Best advice I have is that even with shipping it's less than $15.... which is still pretty cheap. Certainly still cheaper than some of the kits out there.

I checked local Auto Zone and Advance Auto on my way to O'Reilly's neither one had a connector like this. Not to say they don't carry them just that my 2 stores didn't.

I'm buying one for a guy in the UK and mailing it off next time I am by an O'Reilly. I'd be happy to pick up a few extras (let me know if you want me to), but I don't think it would really be worthwhile for anyone in the US. $3.99 + tax + shipping would probably be $7+ (estimating) and you can order it from the company for roughly $12 shipped. I'll do it if people want me to, but the end savings would probably be less than $5.

I too have purchased one from Oreillys and love it.My question is that I leave it connected when not in use..will it drain the battery at all even if nothing is hooked up?
