Help a newb with an easy brake bleed question?
I just replaced my front master cylinder cover with a new one (just a Joker Machine billet one, no damage or anything). I noticed how it looked more like an airless reservoir, compared to the fluid tank type in a car. Do I need to bleed the front brake now? The service manual implied that I could, but didn't flat out say it was necessary. I saw online somewhere that I wouldn't have to if I didn't touch my brake lever. I didn't touch my brake lever at all, just old one off, new one on. The bike only has 4500 miles on it too, so it wouldn't be due for a bleed or anything.
Thanks for the help.
Oh yeah, the master cylinder cover was part of a bunch of stuff I did at once, I'll get some pictures up when the weather breaks so I can wash it. I got a new Dakota Digital speedo in red, put it in a Joker Machine speedo relocation kit, black Joker Machine risers, steering nut, and sprocket cover. Looks schweet. This is on a black 1200N.
