Who's Snickerin now?
I don't know about everyone else here but I have seen more new Sporties on the road in the last month than any other bike. There have been so many that it has shocked me. I drove across DF/W three weekends ago to Weatherford (west of Ft. Worth) and I counted six new sporties. All this week at work I have seen about 6 or 7 ride by the jobsite. Has the bike riding community finally come to their senses and realized that it's not about how much money you spend, but about how much fun you have riding. I would like to see a Spotster "only" get together in DF/W sometime this summer.

Most of them were customs actually but I have seen a lot of Nightsters that appeared to be relatively new. I have'nt ran into any Irons or 48's yet. Funny how being broke brings a man to his senses, Some of the tastiest cuts of meat are the cheapest, when you take the time to dress them up right.

Seems like a lot of people get a big twin or another model of bike when they'd be more happy on a Sporty.
I think it has more to do with the stigma of riding a smaller bike more than anything else.
I've ridden Softails, Dyna's, and Sportsters... i like the Sportster best.
It's a shame if someone get's a bike they'll like less just cuz they want a "Big Boy Bike".
