Default sportster 1200 Low comfort

those of you who have this bike, what is the long ride comfort level and how does it handle on the highway? do any of you have the Mustang seat? the stock seat is a horror.

I've got the Mustang Vintage Wide Solo on my 2007 Sportster XL 1200 Low.

As I stated in another post, it sets me down and back a bit, but not too much.

It is way more comfortable than the stocker. I can easily ride a full tank (approx 120+ miles) without any discomfort.

I could only ride about 50 miles before my *** hurt with the stock seat, so that was the first thing to go. I ordered a mustang seat a couple of days after I bought my bike and have had no discomfort since. My second purchase was highway pegs so I could stretch my legs out while on the highway. It's nice to have a couple of different places to put your feet when you're on a long ride. I can ride mine all day with no complaints.

Replaced the seat with a Mustang tour , single piece two up . Added the bags to carry a can of soda and a sandwich . I use the passenger pegs to hook my heels in on the highway for a change up .

I own and ride a 2007 XL1200L Low and I had the dealer switch out the stock seat on the Low for the stock seat from a 2007 XL1200C Custom. In one day, I rode this bike from Redondo Beach, CA to Laughlin, NV and that is around about 350 miles more or less in one direction without any discomfort or any problems. I feel that I could easily do 500 + miles a day with this bike with this set up. I feel that this bike handles as well as just about any of the other stock Sportsters from HD other than the XR1200. I bought a HD Sundowner seat for it but I have not had to put it on just yet. I have already decided on doing the rear shock upgrade and the front fork upgrade too.
