Has anyone used this air cleaner set up on their bikes? I have a 2006 1200 and my mechanic is pushing towards using this setup with new mufflers and a jet kit. This air cleaner alone cost over $250. Is it worth it or should I go with a different setup. I am not a speed demon so performance is nice but not a necessity. Really looking for a better sound and no oil coming out of my stock air filter. Thanks in advance for your help.

a good friend of mine is a Harley mechanic professionally,he always said water gets forced through those, and takes dirt with it,and when he tore down bikes that ran hyperchargers, they always had a lot of dirt in the crankcase.also,it's been said they're difficult to tune for, because of the variable air charge you get at different speeds.

Personally, I would stay away from Kuryakyn products if I were to purchase again. From what I hear the hyper-charger butterflys come loose and rattle.
I have the Corsair and the fixture rings are prone to cracking at the mount points ... mine cracked at two of the three carb mount points. Scootergurl from the XLForum had her Corsair stack crack altogether making it unusable.
Arlen Ness are prone to cracking at the mount points also.
It's your call, but for the money Kuryakyn wants for their products I would look elsewhere.
