I have owned both the sundowner and the vintage mustang.....

I rate comforte equal.....looks goes to the Mustang and thats were my money goes I sold the sundowner on Ebay....

 

Well, Mustang is going to be my next try ... Sundowner just tortures my butt, 25 mi is the max I can ride it. Just put back my factory seat, what a relief.

 

Had an opportunity a few weeks back to try out the Sundowner seat for my sporty Iron. I personally was disappointed, I didn't seem any more comfortable than my stock seat.

So I'm prolly going to wait until the Lauglin River Run, I'm in Vegas, next weekend and see If I can get a deal for a Mustang Seat. From reading many of the post's here, they have gotten great reviews.

I just want to swap for a touring seat when I roll with the Local HOG group cuz we're usually doing a couple hundred miles at least and that stock seat it tough for that long...

So, just my take on things..

 

So the the Mustang Vinatge Solo or Mustang One Piece fastback seat will increase comfort over stock but does it raise the seat height?

 

The Mustang does feel like it's about an inch higher, but there's no way I'd go back to a stock seat, 500+ mile days are a breeze with the Mustang.
