Those Sikpipes look fantastic. I would only describe the laugh I would have while listening to them as "maniacal".

As far as the whole "loud pipes saves lives" comment...

Stop believing every sticker you read on a helmet at a rally.

Are they helpful? Absolutely.

But don't delude yourself into thinking that you'll always be heard. Newer cars are built to exclude outside noise exceptionally well. Combine that with the radio on and maybe air conditioning white noise and potentially a bluetooth earpiece.

And some people are just ****ing clueless no matter what noise they hear.

My slip-ons are plenty loud and I still encounter dopes almost every ride.

No need. People talk in sticker-speak all the time. I wasn't pointing that at you specifically, just the idiocy and danger of the statement itself.

Ok, now since you want to make it personal and really enjoy repeating t-shirt slogans...

At 70 mph? My helmet will absolutely protect my head. It'll just be about 20-30 yards away from the rest of me.

At 15-30 mph? You bet.

I'm damned glad those scratches are im my helmet instead of my bald head.

Besides, even though I'd wear a helmet no matter what, I live in Jersey. I have to.

But you go on with your freedom. I bet it's tough to get that "DILLIGAF" sticker out of your hair.

Loud pipes are subjective. Each cop in every town around the US is going to have a different opinion on it.

In my town, the cops are pretty leniant. In your town they may not be so. Sounds like you should test the waters for a while before coming to a conclusion and deciding on whether or not to keep the pipes.

Loud pipes sound great but if they are going to keep costing you money after putting them on, you may as well look for something quieter.

From what I read, no. I'm going to contact Bub to make sure though.
