Nothing is wrong with your remap or pipes , it sucked water in , those socks are not WATER PROOF !!! , i learn this after washing the bike with the sock on , it sucks !! , as far as guys who never had a problem ? who are you kidding !!! but hey its your bike do as you wish .. did the bike start at all when you took the filter off ? depends how much water was suck in , you mite fouled the plugs. another good idea turn the sock inside out ??? LMAO !!!

Absolutely correct. Flipping the sock inside out just makes no sense at all.

I basically reoiled the filter in the morning and all was good again. Before reoiling, the filter was nearly white... so I'm thinking it was getting a bit too much air, and of course, the rain didn't help matters.

Now the filter's nice and pink again. I went out in a downpour last night and had no problems. No coughs, no sputters, and certainly no dying.
