seat length with 4.5 gal tank
what is the difference in length of the seat made for the 4.5 gal tank vs the 3.3 gal tank on late model sportsters?

i put a stock nighters seat on my 1200C and if I remember it was about 1.25 inches or so shorter. i can get an exact measurement of the gap between the seat andmy tank if you want.

I dont know the length .I just pulled the vinyl off and started trimming the foam till it fit then stapeled the vinyl back on . Took about 20 min.

The 4.5 gal tank is about an 1" - 1.25" longer than a peanut tank. The seats for the C models are shorter in the nose by about the same amount.
