Default baxter grips

i bought these baxter grips, old school moto kind, pretty muvh hardest thing ive ever done trying to put it over the plastic throttle piece! using lotsa soap but im stuck about a little past half...sheesh

dont think thgese were actually made to go over this piece. may not be for a nightster

use a small air nozzle from your compressor, slip it into the open end between the throttle housing and the grip while pushing on the closed end with your hand. it should expand and slide right on....

well got it on there, but seems my throttle had grip will be bigger in diameter than the left one. at least i know that getting the other one over just the 1" bar will be wayyyy easier. Do you wait to put it on after the controls on the left side? or but it on the bars before the controls?

you sure you put the right grip on the right side? one grip is smaller in diameter on the inside, to fit over the throttle tube

Frak, there was no instructions and I've never put grips on before. I bet I did put the wrong one on, cuz now I notice a x on the other one. I'll never get that thing off that's for sure. So now my throttle grip will be bigger, worth cutting it off and buying a new set? Or live with it?

You should try to get the one you have on there off, without cutting it, in my opinion. salvage it, if you can.
