Default 2005 883c

hey guys i am currently looking at a 2005 883c with 11,000 miles on it. the owner wants 3300 for it. i have looked at the bike and its clean as can be. it has never been down or rode hard (i no the guy pretty well). i was just wonder if there is anything about this model that was defected? i no it has the carb which im a fan of and that it has the rubber mounts another plus, seeing that im coming from a ninja that was a pretty smooth ride. any help about this bike would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

nothing wrong with that bike and at that price you had better jump on it. You could easily sell it and make $1500-$2000.

That seems like a good price and you say that you know the guy and that helps with piece of mind too. A XL883 is a good basic bike to start out on creating and customizing to make it into your idea and your vision of your unique motorcycle. A blank canvas for you to use to reflect your ideas to the motorcycle world around you. Good luck with your purchase and ride safe out there!

Buy it quick, I thought I got a good deal on a 2004 xlc 883, for 3800. That sounds like a steal.

Mine has 14,000 miles (not too bad for being on a little islne a few and) and I've done a few things to it including a 1200 kit. There's no way I'd let it go for anything near that low of a price.

Sounds like a decent bargain.

Buy it! That's a great price IMO. You can mod the hell out of it after you get it for that price. As for any problems, nothing that I'm aware of. Plus you can have the cylinders bored on that year to go up to a 1200.
