My 6'5" son had no problem with his 883R. I'm 6'3" and don't have a problem with my XR1200.

So your little friend should not have any problem.

1999 Sporty 883, and I am 6'2" barefoot. No issues, and ride two up very often.

Don't buy into the "small bike" or "girlies bike" BS. That is just jealous people spouting junk.

Have him sit on a few bikes, take a few rides. He will enjoy it, for sure.
