Default Help choke **** is stuck?

I picked up a 2006 1200 custom about a month ago and have really had no problems with it. I have been very happy with the bike in all. Two days ago I went to try and start it after letting it sit for about 3 days and I could not pull out the choke. I called the dealership and they told me to try and loosen the nut behind it a bit. Tried that and it still didn't pull out at all. Called the dealership back and they are out of ideas so they are picking it up on monday to take a look at it. Has anyone ran across this problem or have any ideas? I would really like to not have to get it to the dealership if it is something simple.

Make sure you loosened the black plastic tensioner nut just behind the ****. That's about all there could be holding the enricher unless the cable is in a bind at the carb.

I believe that was the nut the dealership had directed me to try and loosen. I even loosened up the nut behind the mount to see if that would help but neither did the trick.

I had this problem with my bike when it was new too. They had to replace the enrichener **** and the cable. Hope they get it fixed for you.

No theres no corrosion. It still looks brand new. It doesn't turn at all but I don't think it did that before it got stuck.
