Default How do you eff up a backrest install..

Well, somehow I did. Installed the sissy bar no problem, same with the passenger foot pegs and mounts. No issues. Then its time for the backrest, two screws and a pad, how could I even mess this up I ask, no need for instructions right. I apply loctite on the screws and start screwing, first one goes in fine, second one seemed to of got caught, I reversing out of it and then back it and I felt it break. I tried getting it out all the way but now its caught in the leather and tight. Looks fine and is tight so I left it the way it is, just bothers me that I know its broke. Felt like sharing.

One of mine is broken. Tight, holding the pad on, but broken, or it turns & turns without threading out, I'll call that broken.

Nah, should of read the instructions first, apparently the holes are covered in plastic that get caught up in the threads..

When I moved my front turns signals I crossed threaded one. Rather than keep f#cking it up I just put more blue on it and went till it would not go no more...
Oh well I will want to replace them with cooler billet lights if I have to later on.
