is there anybody here that have tried Big city thunder baffles for SE II mufflers? I'd like to try...are they louder than stock SE II baffles?

secondo question...anybody her know what is it a torque baffle..big city thunder baffle are torque baffle?

 

I have the setup, but I couldn't compare it to the stock baffles as I replaced them before installation. I can compare it to a friend's Fat Boy with SE II's using factory baffles and it is a bit louder.

By torque baffle, I'm guessing you mean a baffle that is designed to be restrictive enough to retain/increase torque. Allegedly, you will see an increase in HP and torque from these baffles. I couldn't tell you for sure, as I haven't dynoed by during during the various additions.

I do like the sound from the baffles and it can be relatively controlled. For example if I'm coming home late at night, I'm not pissing off my neighbors as long as I stay off the throttle. I've had a lot of compliments on the exhaust and have referred several people to Big City Thunder. I read up on the inserts on this forum before I bought them and I don't recall anyone having anything bad to say.
