The Lucas quickshine stuff does pretty well, but much easier and "flashier" is FW1 from RGS labs. Supposedly the choice of nascar, I use it on the whole bike. I get a LOT of compliments on the chrome, and it's not really a chrome *****; just pieced up a bit.
Of all the quickwax I've used, this one outshines them all. Oh crap, that was a really bad pun, sorry.

I use a German-made polish called Wenol. I have not found anything better for polishing chrome or aluminum. Its found at most hardware stores.

Pledge and micro fiber cloth. Very light misting. Chrome, paint and windshield. It shines, cuts down on static and dust.
Once you try it, you will never go back!

Wenol and Never Dull are metal polishes and contain abrasives. Great for aluminum but not chrome. I use Pledge. Sometimes windex, but not on the paint, of course. You clean chrome. You don't polish it.

You have to make sure that anything you use does not contain abrasives.......they are in all sorts of cleaning products...

At a motorcycle show I bought this polish called Metal Magic, there is a polish and a sealer. Seems to work really well.
