what I did differently was to use a sliding chop rotating saw... it allows you to cut a much more straight and cleaner cut.. if I have the time I will post the tutorial over the weekend... I can tell you that is not that difficult, but it is laborious, and you can not rush any step of the process or you will damage the cover.. is a cheaper mod for nighsters and Irons since you only have to rattle can paint it with the original paint you can buy at the Harley dealer.. but for chromed cam covers you will have to re-chrome the piece.... anyway.. it looks really cool.. the reason I did it is that since I removed the sprocket cover, the cam cover rear part looked way too squarish, it does not seem to flow with the engine curves and round pieces .. I will try to take a pic of the installed cover tonight and post it here...

Not a nightster but they do look bad A$$... Here's my '94 with a trimmed cover and new sprocket cover. I let Crossroads Preformance cut mine just beacuse it was cheap / easy and I was buying their sprocket cover. It would be easy to cut yourself too but to my door I'm into this set up for $240 (sent them my cam cover)...
