Default looking for a low seat to replace stock

I have a the 4.5 custom tank on order for my 883L, I have to change the stock seat as it wont fit with the new tank, I was at the dealership and they talked me into the brawler seat. It is in the new 07 catalog for 260 and with my hog rebates I got it for around 200. It raises me up maybe 1/2 inch. I can still pretty much get flat footed. Iam wondering if this is a good seat or if there is something better and lower I should of checked out. My tank wont be in for another few weeks so I got some time to decide on the seat.. thanks

Check out the Corbin, LePera, and Mustang seats. Some of them look pretty darned good!

Just don't get a Badlander. It is not all that much better, comfort wise, than the stock seat...though it really doesn't raise you any. I'm going to get a Sundowner and sell the Badlander. I may end up having to get boots with thicker soles to flat foot it...which is always an option for we short women!

There are a bunch of good aftermarket seats out there. I just picked up a Saddlemen Renegade Solo for my '05 Custom. You definitely don't HAVE to go with a HD seat if you don't want to.

You mean...I don't have to buy from HD. That's definitely NOT what the guy at the dealer said.

I know my brother's got a really low seat but I don't know the name of it. It's a two up seat though.

Wife put a badlander on 1200C. That did the trick.

I put a Corbin Classic Solo mine....

You can get them through your HD dealer...

They offer a version for shorter people that moves the forward closer to the controls....

They are not cheap!
