Dealer is tellin my dad he needs to purchase pegs, because the ones on my bike won't work. I think it's BS because the book says it's all u need. Doesn't make sence. If anything I would upgrade not buy stockers

 

I put my stock mid control pegs on my forward controls when I installed the forward controls. I then bought the Diamond Black foot pegs that say they do not fit the Nightster, and installed those with no problem.

 

Pure BS, pegs are pretty much universal.

 

My forwards kit came with new feeler pegs to replace the ones on my old stock pegs!

 

I'm no expert but I just installed forward controls on mine and the pegs mount the same and appear to be universal.

 

The pegs are the same, they come in a big box in the factory, and a assembled wit the forwards or mids before they go on the line

 

buy the forwards and open the box and tell them to explain why they will not fit. take the peg and show them how they slide in the hole. make a fool out of them.

They are probably reading some book that says you need the feelers on the bottom.
