Was thinking about getting one so I can leave my Badlander seat on.

I have found the air cushion seat cover better. But I use it on my Yamaha bike. I have a Mustang seat on my Harley and didn't need a seat cushion

 

my dad uncle and my wife all have the air rider gel seat.believe there about 150 but from what they say there worth it

 

Yeah, I do. I sent in my stock seat to meancitycycles and they retrofitted it with a combo of gel and new foam. Seems firmer and more form fitting to your butt. So far, I like it.

 

One of the guys I ride with went to a lot of trouble removing his cover and carving out foam and installing a jell pack, he says it's better but still not super comfortable and is now looking around for an aftermarket seat.

 

I had a gel pad fitted in my 07 sporty stock seat for $150.00. Very happy with it. Kept the stock look and is definately more comfy. Will be putting RK shocks on this week to add more comfort.
