My wife has decided that she wouldd like to ride beside me instead of on the back all the time. I picked up a 81 Sportster from a guy at work as a project. She is very excited and wants to make it look a certain way. She actually really loves the way the Nightster looks. I just wanted to know how had it would be to achieve a similar look on her bike? Are any parts the same or has everything changed? Does anyone make parts for a build like this?

The Sportster was completely redesigned from the frame up in 2004, so there are very few parts that are interchangeable. But, if you're good with your hands and tools, anything is doable.
