I'm a faithful follower of Zainos. Wash the factory wax off with dish liquid and then wash and polish with Zainos. I generally do 5 coats of polish on the tins and two on the chrome. Got their accelerator so I could do all the polish in one afternoon instead of waiting a day between. You really get some depth to the paint with multiple coats. And with their finish sprays it's a clean and shine that can't be beat.

Looks really good ,I have Zaino stuff and also 4 other kind,I wax my bike everytime I bring it home,try Lucas speed mist/wax for a speed wax...
