highway peg installation help please
as some of you may know, I am doing a lot of changes to my bike, I was thinking of trading it in for a honda fury, but I'm not.
I need some help I got http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT
and I'm not really sure how I would go about adding them on to the bike. do I need an engine guard?

Can't view the parts because bidding has stopped.
I just bought some tube clamps that fit my frame down tubes, some 6" peg extensions and pegs. Now I have highway pegs when I want them for long trips and I remove them in about 10 minutes when I don't want them.
Personally, I am not a fan of engine guards. That is why I went the route I did.

Looks like an '04 and up from these pictures off the seller's E-bay listing. Couldn't tell ya how they're mounted, but it appears they're mounted in the stock forward control mounts. Might be more practical with mid controls (rather than with the forward controls shown on the seller's bike).

I don't know what your riding, however these are designed to mount to the forward control mounts if your cycle has mid controls. The seller states in his description that "These will not work with forward controls."
The black mount block will go against the frame, then the bolt will go through the arm and mount block to secure it to the frame. The pegs then mount on the end of the arm.
