Default handlebar questions

i have some mini apes on my nightster and im looking for a little more reach. is it just a matter of loosening the allen screws on the riser clamp and angleing them forward or is it more involved.

also is it difficult to change out handlebars?

Yes sir just loosen the top clamp of the riser and nudge them to where you want them! As far as the bar swap goes, if you aren't switching to a bar that requires you to swap out all the cables it is a very easy mod to do. Swapping out all the cables for taller or shorter bars can be pretty hard for someone with no experience. I did it about a month ago and thought it was pretty easy, but very time consuming.

I originally put drag bars on my Nightster's stock shorty risers, but I couldn't stand riding the thing for more than an hour. I would start to get killer pains in my upper back and neck. I decided to switch over to a 14" ape from Burly and they are perfect in both looks and comfort IMHO. I just got back from my first long ride with them and they are awesome!
