Default different solo seat for 2009 iron 883

im looking for a different solo seat for my iron, i dont like how much room the stock one takes up, i dont really want a bobber seat, i was thinking something like that Le Pera Bare Bones seat?? or if anyone has an idea of something better or some pics that would be great... thanks.

I've got the same question. Nobody seems to make one for the iron. I'm looking for a small solo seat to put on my bike with a removed fender.

Something like these

C&C lo pro solo. It's the way to go. Comfortable and it looks great too! Yes, I can get them for you! Actually, I don't see a listing for 07 and up sportster. I'll email Chuck and see if they make one.

The reason your seat takes up so much room is to cover the ecm. Any seat you get for your year is going to be the same way. You'll need to shop for a seat that fits 04-06 or 2010 & up and make it work or just have one made. Custom made seats aren't much more that aftermarket.

onterested in the c&c though. you mean the 02-04 seats kinda work?

For that matter, if I do this I have to relocate the ecm? where to?

No...04-06. and they don't just "work". Have you had your stock seat off yet?

It may work on a 2010 the same as 04-06 but anything pre-04 has a completely different frame.
