I dig the V&H short shots. Based on reading and listening to them on youtube I orded the quite baffles after I installed them. Then pulled them out. If you are looking for something a little deeper and quiter the baffles work, but just the right amount. There is another thread on this subject with lots of detail. I pulled them out because I want the bike to be heard. I use them like a horn.

V&H SHort Shots are great bang for your buck and they sound awesome. The only problem is that you don't get any originality with them because they're quite popular among Sportster owners...if that matters.

Those pipes are in the last category, they sound like tin cans.
