Nightster fender bolts, how to tell the size?
I recently bought a nightster, but the owner had the fender removed and couldn't locate the bolts. I'd like to put the fender back on, but I am not sure what the original bolts look like, let alone the actual size of them. Does anyone know, or know where I can look to find out? I am afraid the dealer would charge a lot for simple bolts.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Couldn't tell ya the length, but they're a button-head style. Get grade 8 bolts. You can buy 'em long and cut 'em to length (thread a nut on before cutting, it gives you something to hold on to while cutting and when you remove the nut it straightens the threads out). Do you have the hardware that goes along with the bolts? There's a suppport bracket for the back bolts. Don't forget the blue Loctite.
