I love everything about them. I love the narrow tank, big front wheel, however can't seem to get past the fact that I may be too big a guy for one. Bought one anyway, just curious if I look like a circus bear.

I've seen some really big men on sportsters.

You look right at home on it. I think the huge grin says it all!

I'm 6 ft, and weigh about 245 (dare I say 250) and I ride one....all the people at work say I should get a bigger bike, all of them don't ride and I ask them how they can be judge of what soemone rides, yet they don't ride.....RIDE IT, feel good, and make it shiny.

I'm 6' and 215. I love riding my Sporty! I do plan on buying a Road King so I can hit the road when I retire, but for now nothing's better than my Sporster for just plane ole fun riding!

I'm right at 6'2", 190 LBS, and I'm having more fun on my 1200C than with any of the Big Twins I currently own, or have owned over the years...

 

If it's what you like and you like to ride it, that's all that matters. Ride on!

Yeah I feel a little cramped and stuff, but I do like the bike, but if I had it to do all over again... I'd probably would have went with a fat boy...

I get so many compliments on this bike (about the bike) it's hard to imagine that any other models would get more...

I am 6'3" and 270. I got one. Screw em.
I didnt have the 17grand to drop on a road king.
Also, I make all the bikes look small.
Goto the website, and look at the wheelbase and overall length comparions, we are talking about inches, like 4 inches between the sportster, dyna and road king.
