Default AN big suckers owners look here!

anyone here with a AN big sucker air cleaner, using the "exposed looking" kinda cover, had problems after riding in the rain? since the filter element is exposed..

The heavy breather has a rain sock, does AN have a similar one other than hard cover?

I haven't really had any issues riding in the rain with my BS II other than the rain washing some of the K&N filtering oil off. I'm not sure if the Wimmer Super sucker cover will fit: http://www.wimmermachine.com/_html/13.html at the bottom of the page. You could always make one out of some spandex & that water proofing spray.

I had the same concerns. I have the AN Big Sucker Stage II kit on my Sporty. I found a thin breathable K&N Drycharger in the Dennis Kirk HD catalog. They are a little pricey ($32), but they are supposed to keep the water out without restricting airflow. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
