LED fuel guage Nightster - 200B
Installing a LEd fuel guage on the wife's nightster. Got the sending unit in the tank, the LEd on the brake res. Next it says to find the fuel sender resistor connector 200B, located between the oil tank and the frame near seat pan. I looked - seat pan has several connections - not one simmilar to the harness on the LEd. Tried following the wire out of the bottom of the tank. They go to a multiconnection and look like they head to the top of the cylinder. There is no gap between the frame and the oil tank. Does anyone know were to find 200A/200B connection on an 08 nightster?

Acording to my shop electrical diagnostic manual, the wire you are looking for is yellow with white stripe... connector 200a/b is a black Molex 3 wire connector located under the seat. It contains- yellow/white, yellow/red, black wires. the wire connector actually connects to the fuel sender resistor assy. 200a is the resistor, and 200b is the wire harness.
hope this helps you. If you right click and print the photos, you can see it more clearly. The Fuel sender resistor is at the top of the page if you hold it landscape.

All we ask is that you post pics when you get it installed.
Which fuel guage did you get?

I am now very curious on how that will work.. After studying the wiring diagram I see that the sending unit - if you will - consists of an on/off switch (Simular to a sump pump) rather than a variable resistor. It is either on or off and will only indicate if the fuel is below a certain level. Is there a varible resistance sending unit in the kit that replaces the float switch?
