Default Solo Spring Seat Installation?

I just received the mounting kit from Rich Phillips yesterday for my '07 XL1200N. This is the kit the has the section to house the ECM. When I started installing it last night, I ran into a problem. My fuelpak is run where the control unit sits under the battery cover, the cables to where it meets the connector under the seat, then it connects to the ECM located in the rear fender. When trying to route the ECM to to the under the seat, it doesn't fit with the mounting kit because there are too many cables and connectors with the fuelpak.

My question is, for those who have this kit and a fuel managment system, how did route everything to make it work?

you may need to lose the fuel pak and just go with a download for the ecm eliminating the extra wiring. fvcking fuelies! they really didn't make these bikes modification friendly. you can also route the wiring to the fuel pak on the frame behind the oil bag and rerun the wiring. have you tried that? you'll have tp pull the wheel if you haven't already. get yourself a repair manual as well so you can torque stuff back down to spec, very important. good luck, post pics.

my fuelpak is right above the battery, tight fit but it fit. I may have a hard time trying to get the battery out if it ever needs to get pulled out.

I have the fuelpak control unit in the standard position on the side of the battery under the cover. The ECM is behind the oil bag bolted to a piece of sheet metal that I have zip tied to the frame. I had no problem doing this. This might not help you if you want to keep the fender in the stock location though now that I think about it.
