I go by the book and once it's past the 1K mark and out of Break in then I ride it like I stole it-no issues to date.

Hi Arch. Glad to see your new post! More oil/tranny juice problems. Geez. Anyway, since mine is second hand, I have no idea who or how it was broken in. It does work great so I guess it was done ok.

Hey oldncrzy, good to hear from you, man. Yea, there was oil gathering on the inspection cover. Could be residual oil from the 1K service, or it could be more serious. Won't know until I walk over to the parking garage and take a look. Can't WAIT until the weather warms up! Then I'll get to see how my own break-in technique (or lack thereof) really played out.

Hope life is good in CT.

Agreed.. thats a good read.
Sounds about right too.
