I think everyone who uses one or the other will say the company they purchased from is better...

There have been a few discussions about this topic, search might turn them up. That said: Led sled recently changed their design, the old ones had a really hard 90 degree bend that (my opinion) looked bad under the seat. The new led sled weld ons are curves and much better looking. There is a build thread somewhere going on right now. I have not talked to led sled personally, but most people say good service.

KK also makes a quality piece, my section is from KK. I have spoken with Bill multiple times and can say I have had awesome service. A couple of years ago when I decided on my section my local indie had a led sled and KK section in the shop, and I chose the KK after looking at the welds and cuts on both of them. Also the geometry of the KK was more appealing to me. Since then I have not seen a raw led sled so I dont know if they have improved the welds of not.

Also, what style are you looking for? I personally think some of the stuff being made is not ridable. A drop seat rear section with pipes that dump onto my foot was not something i wanted. I ride the **** out of my bike and the KK section was the most usable when i got mine. Look for the new thread about the led sled build, he could maybe give you some close ups of the welds. Then sit back and look at pics of the frames and decide what is more appealing to you. I have heard great things about both companies and very very little bad about them both as well. I dont think you could wrong with either...just dont wait too long to pick cause riding a hardtail rocks.

You need to check out Twisted Choppers also, they have the most complete weld on kit I have ever seen, gives me the itch.

from the 2 you chose i've heard of most people goin with LS, the newer design looks alot better than the previous (instead of a 90 on the back post they have rounded it). however i have heard that since they get so much business latley that they sometimes slip a little on the frame making (a guy on another forum stated he couldn't fit the rear rocker on the engine unless the whole engine was out of the frame and stated LS told him to "just bang it out alittle"). maybe those issues are gone with the new design.

i haven't heard anything bad from KK as of yet, in fact all good is what i have heard.

one other manufacturer that i have heard great things about is road 6 customs, good welding, great customer service and quick manufacturing times.

let us know who ya go with
