Default Pull back risers on 1200L

Help Wanted:

09 1200L in need of 4" cureved risers.

I know the brake line will need to be replaced, maybe the clutch cable, any thoughts on the wiring harness?

Wife will be keeping the stock bars just need to bring them back a little bit.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

You can usually put up to 4 inch risers on without changing anything. You can adjust enough slack in the wiring.

Of course with yours being an 09 anythings possible.

That is what I thought. The brake line has almost no slack in the top portion. Might just have to get her some braided one-piece lines.

My bike has the HD 4" pull back risers on it and all the cables are stock. It had te risers and stock bars on it when i got it and now I have drag bars on them. I'm thinking about going to stock risers LOL! If you were local I would work a trade with you LOL! The HD risers are like $129.00

you may already know this but i will just mention that with pullback risers the speedometer face will go almost vertical. Unless they changed something on the 09 mount.

Yep your right! I have the speedo and tach and they are stright up like a cafe racer bike LOL! They don't look near as bad that way since I went to the drag bars, but sometimes it's hard to see the clock with the gauges at that angle. That is another reason I'm thinking about going back to a stock riser set.

I just got a little over 16" of rise (12" hd mini apes, on 4" straight risers) on all completely stock cables from my 07 883 low. you just need to get creative in your rerouting of cables and wires, but my guess is that you can make it all work

Default Risers

GO with 3.5 pull back risers, no cable changes.

Not sure if it's a full 4" pullback, but why not just put on a setup from a 04 or newer Sportster Custom, that would mount the speedo below the bars at the correct angle.
