Chirping tires is a GOOD thing. No ****, last week I got completely airborn, if only by a few inches, but for a good bike length or so. As soon as the rear left the revs shot way up and I landed in a rolling burnout...lol. It definitely surprised me.
I'm not terribly excited about the even more stiff clutch lever, but I can live with it...it's my 1250 Roadster that NEEDS the clutch, but I intend to have my wife ride it here and there and with her tiny hands, I'm afraid she won't be able to do it.
Do the Kevlar SE clutch kits still call for 20w50 or do you have to run mineral oil or something like the aftermarket clutches call for?

The SE clutch spring was the worst mod I had done to date. The clutch lever is so stiff that I went with an aftermarket hydraulic clutch lever. It's still relatively stiff but much better after the hydro clutch install. In the near future I plan on going with a stock 1200 spring. NRHS Dan advised me that the 1200 spring should hold up just fine under 83hp/86Tq, and that the SE spring was overkill. The hydro clutch lever should work nicely with a 1200 spring.
