Spark plug wire arcing, is this normal?

I just discovered last night that the coin style plug gauge in my $30. Harley toolkit from Fleabay is about .010" FAT...I bought one from Advance Auto and miked it: it's on the money. So my plug problems recently may have been from overgap.
BTW, Oinker's article was spot-on, well written, and should be a sticky!

I bought some brand new SE wire's that had some leakage right out of the box.
Talk about quality ??

I dunno, but at least it's 8mm. I see they are overlength. Uh oh. Well, as long as you can easily cut and reboot. I'd be concerned about exact color on the net. I'd rather hold them in my hand first.
