Default Anyone tried Shock-Absorbing Chromed Mirror Mounts

Anyone tried these things?

During this winter solstice bike time out, I took advantage of the SuperBrace discount, so I'm looking forward to installing it and receiving better handling. But if there was anything I have to complain about my sporty, it would be not being able to see anything but a blur in the mirrors. At a stand-still, the view is breath taking. Going 40 mph, my breath gets short trying to see. Anyway, I don't think I'm alone in this so, if anyone out there has tried these, your input would be helpful. I'll probably try them anyway, don't know if the Harley dealer(s) here has them, but it would be good to discuss their virtue. Thanks.

Never heard of such a thing, but I'm interested. The mirror vibration doesn't bother me under "normal riding". But, when I'm leading a ride with 30 - 75 bikes behind me, it would be really nice to have a better view of what's going on behind me.

I looked at them, could not find any for the Harley, just metric bikes. And the thread is 10mm. If you found them for the Harley, put the SKU number up. Ride safe.

SKU Number: 1JA 060517

I read the 10mm at the bottom of the page as well. One of the pages gave a guarantee that theses would fit. It's worth a call or an email.

I called today. They informed me universal parts come up under any search. So, no shock-absorbing chromed mirror mount for the Sporty. That sucks. Could really use them. Guess I'll go for the vibranators.

Does anyone know if these would fit on a 2005 sportster? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

I have some mirrors that I love, but they are too short. Will 10mm threads work on my sporty? Thanks!
