Im in Colorado and there is no helmet law but we need to wear eye protection. Ive got a full face but am thinking about making a move. You guys like anything specific out there? Just interested because I feel like this is a topic never talked about.

 

I am a huge fan of the full face ... I have a shoei that I love and will be using for a long time. I just always have this vision of.riding with a skull cap and having a bird fly into my face. Not cool.

I live in PA,no helmet law. I do work in WV and they have a law so I have custom painted skid lid I wear most of the time and haven't been hassled. I have a full face for the chilly days and riding the Ninja. I also have a "chips" style helmet if I go somewhere unfamiliar & have helmet laws.

2. HJC 3/4 Helmet and removed the brow visor (red)
3. DIESEL 3/4 Jet Fighter Style with Eye Visor that flips up.

I only use the full face for cold days and if i'm on the freeway. I don't have a windshield and its high speed California Freeways; i took a marble sized rock to the lip going 80mph wearing the 3/4. My lip was bleeding and busted.

I have two open faced helmet's. One is a HD one with the face shield that retract's up. And the other is a Bell Mag 8. I like the Bell the best because it has a visor and the face shield slide's up and mostly under the visor. Look's better Imo.

 

Ahhhhh, It don't hurt that bad...... Had the bird to the face before along with other things like rocks, those hard shelled beetles, etc. You learn to shake it off.

I've typically worn my novelty helmet for the past 8 or 9 years, but ordered & switched to a DOT "Skid Lid". Actually have three DOT 1/2 helmets now. The full face hangs on the wall until it gets really cold out, 30*s & lower.

 

I wear a full face. Skyline by HD. I am thinking about getting a scorpion that has an anti fog treatment on the shield.
I also have a 3/4 HD
