Sorry, I can't resist.

Don't ride along side people in cars and it won't bother you if they decide to change lanes!!!!!!!!!!
Stay behind them, or in front of them and not along side. It's called defensive riding (or using your head instead of your pipes to save your life)
Of course, but I'm sure you know that you can't 'Never' have a car along side of you. That's like saying take every right turn so that no one can pull out in front of you. Some risks are unavoidable on a bike. Be careful out there.

Whaap, not sure who your response is to but in my case Iwas pulling up to a stop sign. So at some point and time we were going to be side by side, and she was in the right lane must turn right lane.

P.S. There's no such thing as a dumb question. You might get some dumb answers though !!

I got my first Harley about 8 months ago, and it still has the original pipes. Due to family reasons it only has about 2600 miles. But for the past 38 years, and a few hundred thousand miles on quiet Jap bikes, I've always used my horn to make my presence known. Defensive driving has worked well for me, but for the times when you find yourself unable to avoid a bad situation don't be shy about using your horn!
