Default oil pan

hey gang, getting ready to paint my sporty so that it is all the same color and have a small problem. i know how to pull the tank, and fenders, but how do i get the oil tank off? it has a couple of small places where the paint is chipped, but if it is too big a pain in the ***, i can live with. Thanks, GTG

It's not hard. Take the seat off, you'll figure it out.

what year ?
yours looks like 03 and down
04-up are ***** little crappy cover shame on you harley for going to a Plastic oil tank!!!

Good point! I didn't pay that much attention to the Avitar pic. People REALLY need to let us know the year and model of their bike when asking for advice!!
