Has anyone out there with a 1200C installed drag bars and flipped the mirrors? Again, most of what I see here are Nightsters, Irons, and Sportsters with peanut tanks. The C tank is wider.

I've got an 883C and tried the mirror flip thing last week, with stock mirrors. Didn't work; there isn't any position that the mirrors don't hit the tank. I'm looking around to see what there might be available aftermarket that might work.

Just flipped my mirrors and it looks awesome! Had to raise the handlebars a little to keep the left mirror from hitting the tank. Going to take it out for a spin to get used to the flipped mirrors.

I flipped them on my wifes bike and after about 50 miles on our first ride out, she stopped me and said "put these damn things back now before I kill myself". I had a feeling that might happen so I brought the tools with me and did it in a Chevron parking lot. She couldn't stand them. I thought it looked cool though.

I just inverted my stock mirrors and WOW do I love the way they look and you can see so well behind the bike. You have to get use to looking so far down, but well worth it and easy to do. I have 28" 15 degree drag bars with the HD 4" pull back risers so the mirrors are close to the tank, but I got them so they don't hit and see useable. Just make sure to take your time and adjust them before you let the bike lean over and the front end slam over to the left.

So, has anyone here with flipped mirrors ridden with a passenger? Can you see past their knees?

It's not great with a passenger, if you mostly ride with a passenger I would not recommend flipping them, you would be better to get long stem mirrors up top.

That's what I thought. I would much rather leave them on the top and move my elbow then flip them and never be able to safely ride with a passenger. I mean, what's the point of having a cool bike that chicks drool over if you can't take any of them for a spin.
