This one is for those of you running amsoil in your sportster, What are you running in the Trans? Im a little nervous about running 20-50 in it.

The same Amsoil V-Twin 20-50 oil you're running in your engine will work in your primary. Ive been running it for awhile and it works fine.

RE: Yes, another amsoil question
My son just put this in his tranny/primary and he said it shifts a little smoother/quieter than the bel-ray trans oil he was using which made a difference than the HD trans/primary.

RE: Yes, another amsoil question
I run either Amsoil MCV 20W-50 or Mobil 1 20W-50 V-Twin in the engine, and Mobil 1 75W-90 gear oil in the tranny/primary.
