Yes, and remember to regap your plugs and bleed the brakes. Might as well check your valve clearance while you're in there.

Hate to be the one to break it to ya, but yur jus gonna have to go ahead and re-build the motor..... Lol...

You will also need to rotate the air in your tires and use the tail light lube on the tail lights.

Almost forgot, you will need to check the air gap on the franastad valve on the fraperlator unit.

blinker fluid change is recommend at 7500 mile intervals

and how come no one mentioned the nifflepin

Hey folks.... Sarcasm aside ... I just popped off the derby cover on my 48 to put on a new one and about 1/2 cup of oil came out (in the tilted position). Is this just oil or is it some sort of tranny fluid? If its oil I can just add more to the oil tank when the new one is installed right.

Check them every 5,000 but at least replace them every 10k. If I were you I'd watch out for the blinker fluid as well using hand signals really blows. You may also have to recement your transmission.
