I run an 80/100 in my bike with no wire issues. I also have installed a HID in my other bike and that thing is bright!

I've been using the 80/100 in my dressers for a couple of years and no problems. They are a lot brighter, a heck of a lot brighter. I bought Osrams from Germanautoparts.com, I think. I'm looking into upgrading to bi-Xenons in the spring to light up Pittsburgh.

I just picked up the H-D zenon bulb ( had a loyalty voucher from the local dealer...didn't cost me anything), and I'm quite surprised at how much of a difference it makes. Much whiter light, better beam pattern and a lot more reach.

I put a Xenon H4 Super white bulb in my 2001 Sportster Custom and the light is much brighter. There was no ballast required, just the bulb. I have not had it on the road yet, (winter in New England), but it sure looks brighter.
Has anyone had problems, electrical or temperture (heat), with these bulbs ?

If ya think about it, those blue bulbs are like putting a dark blue pair of sunglasses over your headlights, which just wastes light energy, and creates more heat, and requires more energy to compensate, and the light other than the main part of the beam, is reduced. I'd I had to use halogens, I'd stay with the silverstars. But I'm sticking with my xenons.

I've been running the PIAA extreme white for a few years. Big gain in light out put, uses the same amount of current as the stock bulb. Reasonable price.
