Nice, thanks for all the response's guys. I like the look of that Sy-max II, how is it with airflow? I'm in TN and it can get a touch hot and humid down here. I guess the same goes for the scorpion, the EXO-700 looks nice and has a decent price on it. Most of my apprehension comes from the fit. I know its important to get a good fit and ordering online puts a fair amount of guess work into it

The Helmet Shop in Daytona sells the black Symax II model for $256.49 with free ship over $99.00. I have ordered a couple helmets from them in the past and they were quick to ship.

I don't recall who makes HD's helmets. It may be HJC or AFX.

If you are serious about a modular, then check-out the Shark Evoline. It's probably the slickest modular out now, but it's not cheap.
That Shark is just about the best and coolest helmet made. You have the option of wearing it as a 3/4 or a full face and it has the flip down sunglasses. The down side is it being almost $500 at my local indy.

The EXO and Sy-Max were actually my two finalists before deciding for the Sy-Max. I like both of them but the Sy-Max fit better. The EXO has a slightly different shape to it and put too much pressure on my forehead. You really have to try them on before deciding which to go with.

+1 on that. Not all helmets are created equal. Some are a bit more oval and can squeeze you a bit on the sides of your skull, and vise versa. Not to mention one manufacturer's Large is another's Medium size. Save yourself a little frustration and try a few on to see how it fits, then look around online.
