Hey all

I know I have mentioned my new Sportster earlier but I finally snapped a couple pictures of it.


Here it is with the 10.5" XL883L shocks on the rear and the mid controls also from a Sportster Low.



Don't mind the mess in the background... we just moved in and are still in the "unpacking" phase..lol

 

it is a beauty! I am wondering why you went with mid controls. I thought the customs (I have 04 883 custom) all had forward??

 

I'm too short for the forward controls. I can reach them but it's uncomfortable.

 

My 2006 custom hand mids I hade to add the forward controls !
Kind of wierd some guys I talk to say they bought the same yr and they had them on the bike from the factory ! Some did some didn't !

 

Mine came with the forward controls.. The dealership put the mids on so I would buy it.

 

Just like mine same color only I have forwards which fit my legs..

Congrats I love mine hopefully you will like yours as well. Personally (and I am biased) I think the red is a hot color for a sportster...

 

Congrats! Now it's time to get out and ride that puppy. Unpacking can wait.

 

I agree. Mine is black but red is a great choice. Enjoy!
