Anyone in central Texas want to put on my mini apes for me?
Okay, so here is the deal. Right now I am kinda living out of a backpack, going to school full time, and working full time. I am on my bike for at least two hours a day. The stock bars just kill my back so I was looking at getting mini apes. I went to the HD dealership to look at my options. I got everything figured out and was about to order all the cables and such when I found out that they wanted $480 to put the bars on!!!!! To me, that was just insane. The problem is that I have no tools, no time, and no place to do it myself. So I was wondering if anyone around the Austin area would be kind enough to do it for me. I could pay you $100 (Sorry, I know it's not much but it's what I'm working with.) I don't want to pay almost $500 but the bars I have now are just murder on my back, I have to do something about it. Any help would be great and a thousand "thank you"s.
Oh, and I don't have a single day off... and I need the bike to get to work... ughhhhhhhh....

To bad you don't live in central Lousyana. I've installed many free for friends in just a few hours....even tossed in my takeoff wiring and switch housings and done it factory style.
Don't get in a hurry.....network.....Chat at the gas pumps....stop in for a beer at the local biker bars....Chect the campus parking lots....hang at the parts counter at Cowboys HD.....you will discover a few dudes in your hood that have been there and done that who will share their beer while they install your apes for free like we do each other here.
Cowboys of Austin is perhaps the best dealer in the whole state, but they gotta pay overhead, so expect them there to demand 75/hr plus whatever you will agree to.
