I'm looking to throw this headlight on my 09' Nightster within the next few months (after a black powder coat job of course!).

I was just wondering if anyone here was running the same, if not similar type of light on their sporty. If you are, could you please post pics in this thread of your set up. I just want to see how this 4" housing will look against the front end of a sporty. Thanks all!!!

FYI: It's a J&P Cycles 4" Halogen headlight (part # 3100371).

 

I haven't seen one but it looks pretty damn cool.

 

Thanks mreed! I'll definitely post pics after I get it powder coated and all hooked up. I'm going to mount it just about level and sticking out a bit from the top tree. Not drilling into the lower tree, I gotta be different.

I like it in chrome.. but thats just me.. I bet it would look good either way..

 

I installed the powdercoated black one, I have some crappy cellphone pics on my home computer which I'll upload tonight, which will give you an idea what it will look like. I mounted it upside down to the 'unibrow', because after test fitting it to the lower triple tree, just didn't look right down there. Because the mount is so close to the front of the light, the rear was hitting the neck of the bike. It definitely looked interesting though on the unibrow, kinda old skool.
